There is a thin line between the manta ray and the doe skull…

Calvaria evokes vanities.

I modelled in clay a part of doe skull, then I made a plaster of my model. I made templates to check dimensions of the sculpture. After I hammered until it was the correct shape then I sawed it to represent the cranial suture lines.The piece has a patina of two different colours but I did it with the same chemical reactive.
